Honey Walnut Shrimp

Quick and yummy!  I just love this combination of flavors.  True, it's not as good as Thaifoon's, but it's still very, very good.  Even my kids loved it!:)  Enjoy!
Ingredients:
-1 lb large shrimp, peeled, deveined, with tails removed
-1 cup water
-2/3 cup sugar
-1/2 cup chopped walnuts
-3 egg whites
-1/2 cup cornstarch
-1/4 cup mayonnaise
-2 Tbs honey
-1 Tbs canned sweetened condensed milk
-oil for frying
Directions:
In a small sauce pan, mix water and sugar.  Bring to a boil and add the walnuts.  Boil for about 2 minutes.  Drain.  Place on a large piece of wax paper and let them dry.
While the walnuts dry, beat egg whites until foamy.  Stir in cornstarch and mix until smooth.  Dip the shrimp into batter.  Place in hot oil.  Fry until golden brown.  Drain on paper towels.
In a serving bowl, mix mayo, honey and condensed milk.  Add shrimp and toss to coat.  Add walnuts and serve.  Enjoy!
