Instant Pot BBQ Beef Short Ribs
These babies were so delicious and the meat literally fell off the bone! If your ribs have a lot of fat on them, make sure to trim a lot of it before cooking. It will make a huge difference in taste and texture. Otherwise, enjoy this goodness in a fraction of the time it will normally take to make. Enjoy!

-1 tsp salt
-1 tsp pepper
-1 tsp onion powder
-1 tsp garlic powder
-1 tsp chili powder
-1 tsp paprika
-1/2 tsp turmeric
-8 lbs beef short ribs, trimmed of fat
-1 cup water
-2 cups bbq sauce (we prefer Sweet Baby Ray's)
Directions:

In a small bowl, combine the salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, chili powder, paprika and turmeric. One well mixed, rub this mixture on all sides of trimmed ribs.
Working in batches, brown rubbed ribs on all sides until nice and golden brown**this only takes a couple of minutes on each side. Remove ribs onto plate.
Turn IP off and pour the water in it. Add 1/4 cup bbq saute and kind of spread it a little on the bottom. Add the first layer of ribs and top with 3/4 cup bbq. Add remaining ribs and top with remaining bbq sauce.
Secure the lid with the nozzle in the sealed position. Press the meat/stew function and set to 35 minutes.
Do a natural release. Remove ribs from pot and enjoy!
