Lexie's Peanut Butter-Chocolate Chip Cookies

My daughter, Lexie, LOVES baking and she keeps on making all these goodies for us. She made these cookies the other day and they were gone in a blink of an eye. 😉 Super easy and delicious!  Enjoy!
Recipe yields about 3 dozen cookies
Ingredients:
-1 cup sugar
-1 cup packed brown sugar
-1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature
-1 cup creamy peanut butter
-2 large eggs
-2 tsp vanilla extract
-2 tsp baking powder
-2 tsp baking soda
-1/2 tsp salt
-2 cups flour
-2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 F. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper and set aside.
In your electric mixer's bowl, cream the sugars and butters until nice and smooth.  Add the eggs, vanilla, baking powder, baking soda, salt and flour, half of cup at the time.  Once well mixed, stir in the chocolate chips.
Scoop dough onto prepared sheets. Bake in preheated oven for 8-12 minutes or until lightly browned.
Remove from oven, cool and enjoy!
