Slow Cooker Spicy Seafood Stew

 Easy and delicious, this stew makes a wonderful warm and hearty dish at the end of a cold day. Make sure to serve with some fresh bread. So good! Enjoy!

Ingredients:
-4-5 potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
-2 medium carrots, peeled and diced
-8 oz mushrooms, roughly chopped
-2 cloves garlic, minced
-1 (24 oz) jar traditional pasta sauce
-1.5 tsp turmeric
-1 tsp cayenne pepper
-1/2 tsp salt
-1.5 cups water
-1 lb scallops
-1 lb small shrimp, peeled and deveined
Directions:
In your slow cooker, combine the potatoes, carrots, mushrooms, garlic, sauce, turmeric, cayenne pepper, and salt. Mix well, cover and cook on LOW for 5 hours.
Stir in remaining ingredients and cook on LOW for 30 more minutes.
Give it a good stir, ladle into bowls and enjoy!
