Irina's Mici (Romanian Meat Delight)

My wonderful sister made these delicious mici (literally translated as "little ones") the other day. I've made them before, but I like this recipe as well. They are super tender and super delicious! They are best served with yellow mustard and fresh rolls or fries. Soooo good! Enjoy!

Ingredients:
-2 lbs ground beef
-1 lb ground pork or lamb
-1 tsp baking soda
-1.5 Tbs salt
-1 Tbs dried savory
-1 tsp pepper
-1 tsp sweet paprika
-1 cup beef broth
-3-4 garlic cloves, grated (use the smallest grate you have)
Directions:
In your electric mixer (or simply using your clean hands), mix all ingredients together. If using the mixer, process until mixture becomes like a paste.
Transfer mixture into bowl, patting it down so that that no air bubbles remain. Cover and refrigerate over night.
When ready to enjoy, remove paste from the fridge. Using your hands and a little water so that the meat doesn't stick, form the mixture into shapes like small sausage links.
Place on the hot grill and cook until golden brown. The inside will be nice and juicy. Serve immediately with yellow mustard. YUM! Enjoy!
