Grilled Asian-style Tilapia
This is quick, super easy, and packed with amazing flavors. You can use this marinade for pretty much any meat: chicken, steak, pork. Have fun with it and enjoy this delicious meal! I served ours on top of hot and fresh polenta (mamaliga) and it was a match made in heaven. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
-5-6 tilapia fillets
For marinade:
-3 garlic cloves, minced
-1/2 cup soy sauce
-2 Tbs sesame oil
-1/2 tsp ground ginger
-3 Tbs sugar
-1 Tbs sesame seeds
-1/4 tsp salt
-1/2 tsp pepper
Directions:
Place all marinade ingredients in large resealable plastic bag. Swish around until well combined. Add the fish fillets and make sure they are all covered with the marinade. Refrigerate for a couple of hours, flipping the bag on the other side half way through.
Heat up the grill or griddle on the stove. Coat generously with cooking spray.
Remove the fish from the marinade (discard the marinade) and place on hot grill. Cook for 3 minutes per side or until cooked though.
Serve on top of hot fresh polenta (mamaliga) and enjoy! YUM!
