Green Chile Cheesy Chicken

 What great flavors are in this dish! It's also quick to put together and very hearty. Enjoy!

Ingredients:
-3 Tbs butter
-2 large chicken breasts, boneless, skinless, cut into chunks
-salt and pepper
-2 garlic cloves, minced
-1 jalapeno, seeded and chopped
-1 cup milk
-1/4 cup heavy cream
-4 oz cream cheese, at room temperature
-1 (4 oz) can green chiles, do not drain
-1 tsp chili powder
-1 tsp cumin
-1/2 tsp onion powder
-1.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese
-cooked rice
-chopped green onions, for garnish
Directions:
Melt butter in large skillet or wok. Add the chicken chunks and season with salt and pepper. Saute until golden brown. Quickly add the garlic and jalapeno and cook for 30 seconds.
Stir in the milk, cream, cream cheese, chiles, chili powder, cumin, onion powder, and cheese. Mix very well and cook until the cheese is melted.
Serve immediately on top of cooked rice.Garnish with some chopped green onions. Enjoy!
