Cheesy Potatoes

This is one of my go to side dishes. It's super easy and so delicious. The potatoes are perfectly cooked, then topped with lots of cheese and put under the broiler for a couple of minutes. So good! Enjoy!
Ingredients:
-5 lbs potatoes
-salt and pepper
-butter flavored cooking spray
-1 cup heavy cream
-2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425 F. Coat the bottom and sides of 9x13 dish with butter flavored cooking spray and set aside.
Peel the potatoes, then slice into thick rounds (about 1/2 inch thick). Place half of the potatoes on the bottom of the prepared pan. Spray on top with the butter spray. Season with salt and pepper (about 1 tsp each or more, if you prefer). Place remaining potatoes on top, spray with the butter, and season with more salt and pepper. 
Pour the heavy cream over potatoes. Cover tightly with foil and bake in preheated oven for 1 hour.
Remove pan from oven and carefully uncover. Sprinkle the cheese on top.
Set the oven to high broil. Broil potatoes for 2 minutes. Enjoy that yummy, cheesy goodness!
