Brussels Sprouts and Potato Chowder

I know, Brussels Sprouts are not the most popular vegetable. I, on the other hand, love them when cooked properly, like in this chowder. This is easy, quick, and super delicious! Enjoy!
Ingredients:
-1 lb Brussels sprouts, cleaned and cut in half
-1 lb Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
-4 cups chicken broth
-2 tsp salt
-1 tsp pepper
-real bacon bits, for topping
Directions:
In a large pot, combine the sprouts, potatoes, broth, salt, and pepper. Mix well and bring to a boil. Lower the heat to medium-high, and simmer for 15 minutes.
Turn off the stove and cream the soup using your immersion blender. If you don't have one, work in batches with your blender.
Once soup is nice and smooth, ladle into bowls and top with real bacon bits. So good! Enjoy!
