Pears in Crescent Rolls
This is a great way to enjoy pears in a different way. This recipe is very easy and the results are so delicious, that nothing is left after a few short minutes! Haha! My family gobbled this up immediately. So, so good! Enjoy!
Ingredients:
-butter flavored cooking spray
-3 Tbs butter, at room temperature
-1/2 tsp cinnamon
-1/4 cup sugar
-1/4 cup packed brown sugar
-3-4 pears (depends on how big they are), peeled, cored and sliced
-1 (8 oz) can crescent rolls (makes 8)
-vanilla ice cream, for garnish
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 F. Coat bottom and sides of 8x8 pan with butter flavored cooking spray.
In a bowl, mix together the butter, cinnamon and sugars. Mix very well.
Unroll each crescent roll. Top each with sliced pears. Sprinkle some of the buttery-sugar mixture on top of pears, but save a little for the topping.
Roll each crescent as best as you can (it will be sticky and messy) and place in prepared pan. Coat the top of each roll with butter flavored cooking spray. Sprinkle with remaining buttery-sugar mixture.
Bake in preheated oven for about 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream on top.
