Simple Roasted Chicken with Garlic Glaze

For me, there's nothing more comforting that a good garlic chicken on top of mamaliga (cornmeal mush/polenta).  It's a marriage made in heaven!  Maybe because I grew up with those flavors. I don't know.  But I do know that this is serious comfort food.  Enjoy!
Ingredients:
-4 chicken thighs, bone-in, skin-on
-1 stick (1/2 cup) salted butter, divided
-1 tsp salt
-1 tsp pepper
-8-9 garlic cloves, minced
-1 Tbs flour
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 F.
Melt 3 Tbs of the butter.  Place in bowl and mix with the salt and pepper.  Add the chicken and toss to coat evenly.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.  Place prepared chicken, skin side down, on baking sheet.  Roast in preheated oven for 20 minutes.  Flip on the other side and roast for another 20-30 minutes or until chicken is cooked through and the juices run clear.
While chicken is roasting, melt remaining butter in saucepan.  Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.  Whisk in the flour and cook on low heat, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes.
Once chicken is done roasting, remove from oven. Turn the oven on HIGH broil.
Baste the chicken with the garlic glaze. Broil for a couple of minutes or until beautiful golden brown.
Place chicken on top of fresh mamaliga (polenta) and enjoy!
