Romanian Mac and Cheese (Macaroane cu Brânză)

This is one of my childhood comfort foods.  It's hearty, filling and so delicious!  And it's pretty quick to make too. There's such a nice combo of flavors and textures.  YUM!  Enjoy!
Ingredients:
-1 lb spaghetti
-4 large eggs
-12 oz crumbled feta cheese
-1 cup full fat cottage cheese, small curd
-1/2 cup heavy cream
-granulated sugar, for topping
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 F. Coat the bottom and sides of 9x13 pan with butter flavored cooking spray.  Set aside.
Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain.
While the pasta is cooking, beat the eggs in a large bowl. Add the feta cheese, cottage cheese and heavy cream.  Give it a good stir.
Once the pasta is cooked and drained, add to the cheese mixture.  Toss until very well combined.  Pour into prepared pan.
Bake in preheated oven for about 30 minutes.  Remove from oven and let it sit for 10 minutes.
Cut a nice chunk and sprinkle with a little sugar on top.  Enjoy!
