Pork Belly in Honey Garlic Sauce
The pork belly bites melt in your mouth. The sauce is simple and super delicious. I served ours with brown rice and veggies on the sides. Delicious meal! Enjoy!
Ingredients:-2 lbs pork belly, cut into chunks
-3/4 cup honey
-1/2 cup soy sauce
-6 garlic cloves, minced
-1/4 cup sesame seeds
-chopped green onions, to garnish
Directions:
In a large skillet, fry the pork belly chunks until nice and golden brown on all sides. You might need to work in batches. Also, do not add any oil to the skillet, as the pork belly has plenty of fat.
While that's cooking, mix the honey, soy sauce and garlic in a pan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, then simmer for a couple of minutes. Stir in the sesame seeds.
Toss the fried belly chunks in the sauce.
Serve on top of rice and sprinkle with the chopped green onions. Enjoy!
