Banana Bundt Cake with Chocolate Chips and Heath Toffee Bits
What a delicious twist to a regular banana bread! The toffee bits add quite a bit of flavor. Delicious! Yum! Enjoy!
Ingredients:-1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, at room temperature
-1/2 cup sugar
-1/2 cup packed brown sugar
-2 large eggs
-5 small very ripe bananas
-1 tsp vanilla extract
-1 tsp baking soda
-a pinch of salt
-2 cups flour
-1 cup Heath Toffee Bits
-1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 F. Coat the sides and bottom of bundt pan with baking spray (the one with flour and butter). Set aside.
Cream the butter and sugars. Add the eggs. Peel the bananas and add chunks of them into the mix. Stir in the vanilla, baking soda, salt, and flour, half of cup at the time. Add the toffee bits and chocolate chips.
Pour that goodness into the prepared pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 60 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
Cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes, then cool completely (out of pan) on wire rack. Slice and enjoy! YUM!
