This chicken is super flavorful! If you like dill pickles, then this is totally for you. The marinade makes the chicken nice and tender and bursting with flavor. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
-3-4 lbs chicken pieces (thighs, breast)-all with skin and bones, for frying
For marinade:
-1 cup buttermilk
-1 cup dill pickle juice
-1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce
-2 tsp paprika
-1/4 tsp cayenne
-1 Tbs salt
-1/2 tsp pepper
For flour dredge:
-1 cup flour
-1/2 cup cornstarch
-1 tsp paprika
-1/4 tsp cayenne
-1 Tbs salt
-1.5 tsp pepper
Directions:
Place all marinade ingredients into a large resealable bag. Mix very well. Add the chicken pieces and make sure they're all evenly coated. Refrigerate for 2-4 hours, flipping the bag on the other side every so often, so that the chicken marinades evenly.
Mix all the dredge ingredients together.
Heat up a large skillet with oil.
When hot, remove chicken from marinade (discard marinade), and dredge through flour mixture. Fry until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from pan onto plate line with paper towels. Enjoy!
