Steak Bites and Gnocchi in a Creamy Dill Sauce
This is what I call comfort food: steak and potatoes. The sauce is one of my favorites and it goes really well with pretty much any kind of meat: chicken, steak, pork or even fish. This combo is super tasty and very easy to make. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
-2 lbs steak, cut into bites
-2 tsp salt, divided
-1.5 tsp pepper, divided
-1.5 cups heavy cream
-2 Tbs flour
-1 Tbs dry dill
-1 lb potato gnocchi
Directions:
Coat large skillet with cooking spray. When hot, add the steak bites. Season with 1 tsp of salt and 1 tsp of pepper.
In a small bowl, whisk well the cream, flour, dill and remaining salt and pepper. Once the steak is nicely seared, pour the sauce right on top.
Bring to a simmer and cook for about 5 minutes or until it starts to thicken. Toss in the gnocchi and cook for2 more minutes or until they're nice and soft.
Scoop onto plates and enjoy!
