Easy Chocolate Cream Pie

 This is so easy and so, so delicious! I served ours with my childhood strawberries and whipped cream. SO yummy! Enjoy!

Ingredients:
-1 pie crust, baked and ready to go
-1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
-1/4 cup cornstarch
-1 cup sugar
-a pinch of salt
-3 large egg yolks
-2 cups milk (at least 2 %)
-1 tsp vanilla extract
Directions:
Place the pie crust on baking sheet lined with foil. Set aside.
Whisk together the cocoa, cornstarch, sugar and salt, over medium-high heat. Whisk in the eggs. Mix very well. Slowly add the milk and whisk until smooth.
Keep whisking until thickened, which may be around 10-15 minutes. Do not stop whisking, as you don't want to get clumps.
Once thickened, remove from the stove and stir in the vanilla.
Pour into prepared crust. Refrigerate for a couple of hours or until nice and set.
Slice and enjoy! YUM!
