Instant Pot Spicy Pasta with Sage Sausage
This is one of our favorite meals. It's quick, filling and tasty. You can control the level of spiciness by the amount of red pepper flakes you add. We like it spicy. 😉Enjoy!
Directions:
Coat the IP with olive oil flavored cooking spray and turn on saute. Add the sausage and cook until nice and brown, breaking up the large chunks as it cooks. Add the garlic and cook for another 30 seconds.
Turn off the IP. Season the sausage mixture with the salt and pepper. Add the tomatoes, water and broth. Add the pasta. Give everything a nice, good stir.
Cover and place the handle in the sealed position. Set to manual high pressure for 5 minutes.
Do a natural release. Once done, set it back on saute. Sprinkle with the red pepper flakes. Add the cream and simmer for a couple of minutes.
Turn off the IP and remove the inner pot onto hot pad. Let it sit for a couple of minutes. Scoop into bowls and sprinkle with the parmesan. Enjoy!
