Kim's Apple Streusel

A friend gave me some delicious apples from her garden. Another friend saw the apples and gave me this recipe. It is so good! It's also pretty easy to make. Such a treat! Enjoy!
Ingredients:
For crust:
-2 cups flour
-1/2 cup sugar
-1/2 tsp salt
-1/2 tsp baking powder
-1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature
-1 large egg, beaten
For filling:
-4 cups peeled and roughly chopped apples (Golden Delicious work great for this)
-3/4 cup sugar
-1/4 cup flour
-1 tsp cinnamon
For icing:
-1 cup powdered sugar
-1/2 tsp vanilla extract
-1/2 tsp almond extract
-4 Tbs milk
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 F. Coat the bottom and sides of 9x13 baking dish with baking spray (the one with flour and butter). Set aside.
Quickly make the crust by combining the flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder. Cut in butter, then slowly mix in egg.
Press half of the crust in the prepared pan. Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes.
Remove crust from the oven. Do NOT turn off the oven.
While that's baking, mix the sugar, flour and cinnamon for the filling. Once well combine, add the apples,  making sure they're covered evenly. Arrange apples on baked crust. Crumble remaining crust on apples filling.
Bake for 20 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
While that's baking, mix the icing ingredients until nice and smooth.
Drizzle over cooked dessert.
YUM! Enjoy!
