Sarah's Banana-Chocolate Muffins

My cute 10 year old made these for us and they are so, so delicious! They're super easy to make and it's a perfect way of using those overripe bananas. Enjoy!
Yields 24 muffins
Ingredients:
-1 stick unsalted butter, at room temperature
-1 cup sugar
-2 large eggs
-3 ripe bananas
-1 tsp vanilla extract
-1 tsp salt
-2 tsp baking soda
-3 cups flour
-2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 F. Line the muffin tins with paper liners and set aside.
Cream the butter and sugar. Once smooth, add the eggs. Peel the bananas and add them to the mix in chunks. Stir in the vanilla, salt baking soda, and flour, half of cup at the time. Finally, stir in the chocolate chips.
Divide the batter evenly between prepared tins.
Bake in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
Cool in pans for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy! YUM!
