Easy Strawberry Brownies

These brownies are so rich and packed with so much flavor. They truly are a treat! You can definitely make your batter from scratch, but a store bought mix works great. Also, make sure to use good quality strawberry jam, like Smuckers, for a better flavor and texture. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
-1 (18.3 oz) box chewy fudge brownie mix PLUS all ingredients necessary to make it
For strawberry filling:
-1/2 cup (1 stick) salted butter, at room temperature
-1 cup powder sugar
-1/4 cup good strawberry jam
For chocolate ganache:
-1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
-1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
Directions:
Mix brownie batter and bake in 9x13 pan, according to package directions (follow the high altitude instructions, if needed).
Cool brownies completely.
Make the strawberry filling, by creaming the butter and sugar. Once nice and smooth, add the jam and mix until well combined.
Spread evenly over the brownies, cover and place in the fridge for 1 hour.
Finally, make the ganache, by melting the chocolate chips and butter. Once nice and smooth, let it cool for 30 minutes.
Spread that goodness on top of the strawberry filling. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, cut into squares and enjoy! YUM!
