Instant Pot Spicy Roast
So easy and so delicious! I love the kick on this one. I served ours on top of fresh mashies, with roasted veggies on the side. So yummy! Enjoy!
Ingredients:
-1 (3-4 lbs) pot roast, trimmed of fat
-salt and pepper
-1 onion, halved and thinly sliced
For sauce:
-13 oz white cooking wine
-1 cup garlic chili sauce
-3/4 cup packed brown sugar
Directions:
Coat the bottom and sides of your instant pot with cooking spray.
Season both sides of the roast with salt and pepper, then place in prepared instant pot. Top with the onions.
In a separate bowl, mix together the sauce ingredients. Pour on top of roast.
Secure the lid on top with the valve in the sealed position.
Set to MEAT for 90 minutes. Do a natural release.
The roast will be super tender. Serve on top of mashies and scoop some of the sauce on it. YUM!
