Paula Deen's Not Yo' Mama's Banana Pudding
I love a good banana pudding and this one delivers big time! Paula Deen is a true master and this is definitely finger licking good quality. Enjoy!
Slightly altered from a Paula Deen recipe
Ingredients:
-2 (7.25 oz each) bags Pepperidge Farm chessman cookies
-about 8 bananas, peeled and sliced
-3 cups milk (at least 2%)
-1 (3.4 oz) box instant French vanilla pudding mix
-1 (3.4 oz) box instant banana cream pudding mix
-1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
-1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, at room temperature
-1 (8 oz) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
Directions:
Line the bottom of a 13-9 baking dish with one bag of the chessman cookies. You might need to break some to fit. Top with all the sliced bananas.
Using an electric mixer, whisk together the milk and pudding mixes until well blended.
In a different bowl, combine the condensed milk with the cream cheese until nice and smooth. Fold the whipped topping into this mixture.
Add that goodness into the pudding mixture and stir until well combined.
Pour over the cookies and bananas in an even layer. Top with remaining bag of cookies. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. YUM! Enjoy!
