Saucy Drumsticks
Ingredients:
For sauce/marinade:
-1/2 cup soy sauce
-1/3 cup packed brown sugar
-1 Tbs vegetable oil
-1 tsp ground ginger
-1 tsp garlic powder
-1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
-1 tsp hot sauce
-1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
For dish:
-3-4 lbs chicken drumsticks
-blue cheese dip or ranch, for dipping (optional)
Directions:
In a large, resealable plastic bag, mix all of the sauce ingredients. Close bag and mix very well. Add the drums and mix around, making sure they're all covered. Place flat in the fridge and marinade for 3 hours, flipping the bag on the other side every hour, if possible (the meat marinade more evenly this way).
Preheat oven to 375 F. Coat a cookie sheet with cooking spray. Dump the drums and sauce/marinade onto the prepared sheet. Make sure the chicken is in single layer. Cover tightly with foil and bake in preheated oven for 35 minutes.
Remove foil, flip chicken on the other side, and bake uncovered for 15 more minutes.
Remove from oven, let it rest for 5 minutes, then serve and enjoy!
