Roasted Bagged Whole Chicken

 Once in a while I love to roast a whole chicken for dinner. The easiest way is using the roasting bag. There's no basting or worrying about the chicken. You just season it, roast it and get to enjoy a very flavorful and moist chicken. So easy and so yummy! Enjoy!

Ingredients:
-1 whole chicken (4-5 lbs)
-butter flavored cooking spray
-seasoned salt 
-pepper
-garlic powder
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 F. Coat the inside of roasting bag with butter flavored cooking spray.
Pat the chicken dry. Coat generously everywhere (remember to do under the skin and inside cavities as well) with the butter flavored cooking spray. Sprinkle generously everywhere with the seasoned salt, pepper, and garlic powder. 
Place in prepared bag. Tuck in the ends of the bag, poke a few slits in the bag (with a knife), and place on roasting pan.
Roast in preheated oven for 2 1/2 hours.
Remove from the oven, cut the bag and place chicken on serving platter. Let it rest for 15 minutes, then carve and enjoy! YUM!
