Pasta with Bacon in a Creamy Lemon Sauce

I think the title says it all! This dish is simply delicious. It's quick, easy and finger licking good. So yummy! Enjoy!

Ingredients:

-16 oz bacon, sliced and cut into chunks

-1 lb small pasta (shells, rotini, etc)

-3 cups heavy cream

-1/2 cup sour cream

-salt and pepper, to taste (about 1/2 tsp each)

-zest and juice from two lemons

-4 tsp Worcestershire sauce

-chopped chives, for garnish

Directions:

In a large skillet or wok, cook the bacon until nice and crisp.

While the bacon is cooking, bring a pot of salted water to boil. Add the pasta and cook for 9 minutes. Drain.

Once the bacon is cooked, removed onto paper towel lined plate.

Keep 2 Tbs of the bacon grease in the pan and discard the rest. Return pan to stove and add the heavy cream and sour cream. Whisk until smooth. Season with salt and pepper and bring to a simmer. Continue cooking for about 5 minutes. Stir in the zest and juice from the lemons, and the Worcestershire sauce. Mix well, then add the pasta and bacon. Give it a good stir and cook for a couple more minutes.

Serve immediately with some chopped chives. YUM! Enjoy!
