Garlicky Shrimp and Gnocchi

 This is a super simple and delicious meal. We like ours with some garlic bread to sop up the yummy sauce. So good! Enjoy!

Ingredients:
-1 lb gnocchi, cooked according to package directions and drained
For shrimp:
-2 lbs shrimp, peeled, deveined, with tails removed
-1 Tbs extra virgin olive oil
-2 garlic cloves, minced
-1/2 tsp salt
-1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
For sauce:
-2 Tbs unsalted butter
-2 garlic cloves, minced
-1 cup heavy cream
-1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
-1/2 tsp salt
-1 tsp pepper
Directions:
Place shrimp and all other ingredients for its preparation in a ziploc bag. Make sure that shrimp is evenly coated. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
Melt butter in large skillet. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute. Pour in the heavy cream and give it a good stir. Simmer for 3-4 minutes, until it thickens slightly. Stir in the cheese. Once melted, season with the salt and pepper. Give it a good stir and add the marinated shrimp. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until nice and pink. Add the cooked gnocchi and give it one final stir. 
Serve immediately with some garlic bread. YUM! Enjoy!
