Korean Beef Bulgogi

Simple and absolutely delicious, this is one of our favorite dishes. Traditionally, beef bulgogi is served wrapped in lettuce leaves, but we prefer it on top of rice. So, so good! Enjoy!
For marinade:
-1 cup soy sauce
-1/2 cup sugar
-1/2 cup rice vinegar
-4 large garlic cloves, minced
-2 Tbs sesame seeds
-1/2 tsp salt
-1/2 tsp white pepper
For dish:
-2 lbs beef, thinly sliced
-2 Tbs vegetable oil
-2 Tbs sesame oil
-2 large carrots, shredded (use the largest setting)
-one bunch green onions, cleaned and cut diagonally in 1 inch pieces
Directions:
Mix together all of the marinade ingredients. Once well mixed, add the beef slices. Coat evenly. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, but no longer than 4 hours.
Heat both oils in large skillet. A wok works best. Discard the marinade and add the beef slices to the hot oil. Cook for a couple of minutes or until beef is browned on both sides.
Add the carrots and green onions. Give it a good stir and cook for about 5 more minutes.
Serve immediately on top of rice. Soooo good! Enjoy!
