Slow Cooker Perfect BBQ Beef Short Ribs

These ribs melt in your mouth. Literally! They are packed with so much flavor and they are so very tender. It's important to let the rub get into the meat for a few good hours. It gives it so much flavor.  So, so yummy! I served ours with mashed potatoes and roasted broccoli. They were perfect together. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
-4-5 lbs beef short ribs
-2 cups good bbq sauce (we prefer Sweet Baby Ray's)
For sweet and spicy rub:
-1/4 cup packed brown sugar
-2 Tbs smoked paprika
-2 tsp salt
-2 tsp pepper
-2 tsp garlic powder
-2 tsp onion powder
-2 tsp chili powder
Directions:
Mix the rub ingredients together.
Trim the ribs of as much fat as you can, then cut into chunks. Roll each chunk into the rib mixture (make sure to coat on all sides), then place into a large resealable plastic bag. Once all the pieces are in, seal the bag and place in the fridge over night or for about 8 hours.
Coat the bottom of your slow cooker with cooking spray. Pour 1 cup of the bbq sauce on the bottom. Place rib chunks on top of that, then top with remaining bbq sauce. Cover and cook on LOW for 9 hours. Enjoy!
