Shrimp Stir-Fry
I love stir fry because it's quick and so yummy. Also, you can use any veggies and meat you want or have on hand. This one has a little kick to it, so you can adjust it according to your taste preference. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
-1 Tbs sesame oil
-1 bunch green onions, cleaned and cut into large pieces
-1 orange bell pepper, roughly chopped
-2 garlic cloves, minced
-12 oz medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
-sesame seeds, to garnish
For Sauce:
-1 cup chicken broth
-1 tsp ginger
-3 Tbs soy sauce
-3 Tbs Worcestershire sauce
-1 Tbs sesame oil
-1 Tbs packed brown sugar
- 2 Tbs cornstarch
-1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
Directions:
In a wok, heat up the oil. Add the onions and bell pepper and stir fry for a couple of minutes. Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Add the shrimp and cook for one minute.
While all that is cooking, quickly whisk all the sauce ingredients.
Once you've cooked the shrimp for 1 minute, add the sauce. Give it a good stir and cook for 2 minutes. The shrimp cooks fast and the sauce will thicken almost immediately.
Turn off the heat, scoop up into bowls on top of cooked rice, and top with some sesame seeds. Enjoy!
